Present Tense of Pedir and Servir Pedir and Servir are stem-changing verbs in which the e in the stem of the infinitive changes to i in all forms except nosotros and vosotros.

Present Tense of Pedir and Servir Here are the present-tense forms of pedir and servir:

PEDIR: to ask for or to order Yopido Túpides Él Ellapide Ud. Nosotros pedimos Vosotros pedís Ellos Ellaspiden Uds.

PEDIR Pedir means to ask for or to order. Juan pide la quesadilla de pollo. Pedimos los postres.
