Utilizamos la voz pasiva cuando no sabemos o no nos importa quién realiza la acción.

Cuando sabemos o queremos concretar quién realiza la acción, podemos añadir by + sustantivo.

The Passive El present simple de la voz pasiva se construye con el present simple del verbo be + el past participle.

...is + past participle......are + past participle...

El past simple de la voz pasiva se construye con el past simple del verbo be + el past participle.

...was + past participle......were + past participle...

Los coches de la marca BMW se fabrican en Alemania.
