IR + a + Infinitive As you remember, one way to express future action is to use the present tense of IR (to go) + a + Verb in infinitive form. Examples: Ellos van a correr They are going to run Laura va a estudiar Laura is going to study

Present tense to express future action The other way to express a future action is to use the present tense + a context which indicates that you are referring to the future. The following expressions may denote a future action: Después afterwards, later Más tarde later Esta noche tonight Mañana tomorrow Pasado mañana the day after tomorrow La próxima semana next week El próximo mes/año next month/year
