CONJUGATING VERBS The SUBJECT determines how the verb is CONJUGATED To conjugate  to change the ending of the verb Different subjects = different verb endings I like pizza. She likes pizza.

Present Tense Present tense refers to currently true statements: Mr. Stanton is the principal. My mom has three sisters. It also indicates action that happens on a regular basis: She always wears the color pink. On Saturdays I go to the movies.
