Use the subjunctive after verbs and phrases that express FEELINGS and EMOTIONS such as: happiness, regret, surprise, fear, anger, and pride. Ojo: The feeling/emotion must be for something or someone else.

When the feeling or emotion concerns the action of the subject itself, use the infinitive. EJ: Me alegro de almorzar contigo VS. Me alegro de que tú almuerces conmigo.=
