Los verbos A verb is the action in a sentence. The dictionary form of the verb is called the infinitive. cantar = to sing bailar = to dance patinar = to skate
What if we want to say I sing . . . How do we say. . . I like to sing. Me gusta cantar. What if we want to say I sing . . .
Los verbos To tell who is doing the action, we must change the infinitive. For example . . . (Yo) canto muy bien. (I sing very well.) This is called conjugation.
Every verb has 2 parts: Stem + ar = Infinitive cant + ar = cantar
Los verbos To change or conjugate a verb we drop the -ar and add endings.
