MISIONEROS CLARETIANOS TALLER SOBRE JPIC & SOLIDARIDAD VIC, SPAIN 3- 9 FEBRERO, 2014

INTRODUCTION Siguiendo las orientaciones del XXIV Capítulo general “Hombres que arden en Caridad” (n.61.7), queremos continuar la reflexión congregacional sobre cuestiones de JPIC-Derechos Humanos (JPIC) (HAC, n. 58,3a) través de un encuentro temático (HAC. 61.5). La reflexión, partiendo de experiencias claretianas concretas significativas, buscará definir las líneas que han de definer el trabajo congregacional en este area durante los próximos años.

OBJECTIVES a). Definir, desde las experiencias concretas, el estilo de las acciones en JPIC y pastoral social de los Misioneros Claretianos. b) Definir, dentro del estilo común a toda la Congregación, las líneas de acción, programas y estilos más adecuados para cada continente o zona continental. c) Facilitar la coordinación entre las acciones Sociales, de JPIC y de Derechos Humanos, y el equipo de Naciones Unidas. d) Estudiar la forma en la que debe organizarse la coordinación de estas acciones misioneras en la Congregación. e) Expresar la importancia que esta dimension JPIC-Derechos Humanos-Social, tiene en el estilo claretiano de evangelización. F) Orientar el trabajo del Secretario de JPIC de la Congregación. .g) Conectar el trabajo congregacional realizado en los Organismos mayores con el equipo de Naciones Unidas

DEFENCE OF LIFE: SYSTEMATIC STATE – SPONSORED CULUTRE OF DEATH AND VIOLENCE To the challenge of the systematic state-sponsored ‘culture of violence and death’ [MFL I, 1, a] experienced in some of our missions, we have had two strategic responses: Mobilization of basic communities though biblical formation and prophetic actions of denunciations as presented by our mission in Rio sució -Colombia and advocacy at the international level. This whole process has to date culminated into our presence as an NGO at the United Nations as it is presented by CMF@UN.

PEACE BUILDING AND HUMAN DEVELOPMENT: To the challenge of peace and development occasioned by interreligious conflicts [MFL I, 1, b], ZABIDA project in the Philippines and Varod in Sri Lanka, offers us presentation with a ministerial and strategic response which includes dialogue of life, human development, rehabilitations of ex combatants, peace-building initiatives and advocacy.

NEW POOR AND /OR MARGINALIZED RURAL FAMILIES To the challenge of caring for the ‘new poor’ and marginalized families, [MFL I, 1, c] occasioned by the phenomenon of urbanization, Sortarazi in Bilbao and Zhomba mission will be giving us some presentation(Zhomba Will not participate).

SOLIDARITY WITH THE MIGRANTS To the challenge of Solidarity with migrants [MFL I, 1, f] we have three presentations. Casal Claret in Vic, La Placita in los Angeles and Casa sul pozzo in Milan Italy. All of these present us with unique vision of how the same theme is experienced in different areas and how best each mission offers a prophetic response.

HEALTH AS A BASIC HUMAN RIGHT To the challenge of promotion of health [MFL I, 1, h] as a human right and a Gospel imperative, Sumanahalli in Bangalore, Manasu in Chennai , Santhwana in St Thomas and Kiyunga holistic healing centre in Uganda presents us with a prophetic response.

DEFENCE OF LIFE AND THE RIGHTS OF THE MINORITIES AND INDEGENOUS PEOPLE To the challenge of defense of life [MFL I, 1, a] and rights of the indigenous people as well as promotion of their cultural rights and provincial of basic needs the Mapuche experience in Chile, Rio Sucio sheds enough light.

CLARET’S CUBA EXPERIENCE BIBLICAL PERSPECTIVE OF JPIC AND HUMAN RIGHTS Se pedirá al Instituto Claretiano de Vic que realice un estudio sobre el Padre Claret en Cuba con el fin de clarificar el sentido que tuvo para él la promoción social en el contexto de su acción misionera. Se expondrá en resultado en el encuentro. BIBLICAL PERSPECTIVE OF JPIC AND HUMAN RIGHTS Se tendrá un espacio especialmente reservado a la reflexión sobre la JPIC, pobres y Derechos Humanos en la Biblia. Se desarrollará a través de conferencias preparadas por el equipo BibleCMF y en las celebraciones y oraciones del encuentro.

El encuentro tiene como su principal objetivo definer las características del trabajo claretiano en JPIC – Derechos Humanos – Misión Social. Cuál es la aportación que el trabajo que estás realizando haría para responder a esta pregunta? Se responderá por escrito y se tundra preparado un Power Point de presentación, además de fotografías y videos.

Financiación Cada participante pagará la estancia (360 €); y el viaje. El Gobierno general pagará la estancia de los que presentan las experiencias, no el viaje. Los gastos ordinarios generados por el encuentro para cada organismo mayor podrán ser especificados como tales en los presupuestos anuales del organismo que se presentan al Gobierno general. El Gobierno general asumirá los gastos de las conferencias de expertos (P. Claret y JPIC en la Biblia) y los Gastos generales del encuentro.
