How to conjugate Conjugate: Change an infinitive based upon who is doing the action. Infinitive: The verb before it is conjugated. It still ends in the letters -ar, -er, or -ir.

Step 1: First you must find the... Stem

How do you find the stem? Drop the last two letters of the infinitive. Any remaining letters are the STEM. Example: hablar Stem

Step 2 You will add an ending after the stem based upon: what pronoun you are using (Who’s doing the action?) what category of verb it is (-AR, -ER, - IR).
