1. ADJECTIVES are words which describe nouns or pronouns. ex: the pretty view la vista bonita

2. In Spanish, all ADJECTIVES & NOUNS must agree in NUMBER and GENDER. ex: la casa vieja (Sing, Fem) ex: las casas viejas (Pl, Fem)

3. Masculine nouns typically end in the letter –O and always use the article EL or LOS. Ex: el chico

4. Feminine nouns typically end in the letter –A and always use the article LA or LAS. Ex: la chica

5. To make nouns and adjectives plural, add –S to words ending with –O or –A. Ex: las chicas serias

6. Add –S to words ending in -E. Ex: las profesoras pacientes

7. If an adjective ends in a consonant, add –ES to make it plural. Ex: las tareas difíciles

8. In Spanish, adjectives usually follow the NOUNS they describe. Ex: el chico trabajador Ex: los chicos trabajadores
