1. Use “Gustar” to say…  What pleases someone or what someone likes. A mí me gusta(n) = I like A tí te gusta(n) = you like A él/ella/ud. le gusta(n) = he/she likes/you like A nosotros nos gusta(n)= we like A vosotros os gusta(n)= y’all like A ellos/ellas/uds. les gusta(n) = they like or y’all like

2. Use “gusta”…  When the item that is liked is singular or is a verb. Don’t forget to include “el” or “la” before nouns.  Ejemplo: Te gusta la pizza.  __________________________________  Translate on the line.  Les gusta el profesor de matemáticas.  __________________________________  Me gusta correr.  ___________________________________

3. Use “gustan”…  When the item that is liked is plural. Don’t forget to include “los” or “las”.  Ej: Nos gustan los videojuegos.  ___________________________________  Translate on the line.  Les gustan las clases.  ___________________________________  Os gustan los zapatos.  ___________________________________

4. To make it negative,…  Put “no” at the beginning to say what someone does not like.  Ej: No me gusta practicar deportes. ___________________________________ Translate on the line.
