In a Spanish sentence, after the subject/subject pronoun and verb, the definite/indefinite article comes first, then the noun and the adjective(s) last. Everything MUST agree in gender and in number. Margarita es una chica muy artística. –Margarita is a very artistic girl. Pablo es un estudiante inteligente. –Pablo is an intelligent student. La Sra. Ortiz es una profesora muy buena. –Mrs. Ortiz is a very good teacher.

A Pamela le gusta tocar la guitarra y cantar. –Pamela likes to play the guitar, listen to music and sing. Ella es talentosa y música, ¿verdad? –She is talented & musical, right? Sí, y ella no es reservada. –Yes, and she is not shy. A Gilberto le gusta ir a la escuela, usar la computadora (para hacer la tarea), y trabajar. –Gilbert likes to go to school, use the computer (for doing homework), and work. Él es trabajador y estudioso, ¿no? –He is hard-working & studious, no? Sí, él no es perezoso, pero es muy serio. –Yes, he is not lazy, but he is very serious.

Yo soy sociable, popular, y simpático(a); yo no soy reservado(a). –I am sociable, popular and nice; I am not shy.
