“IF” clauses are in the PRESENT tense NEVER SUBJUNCTIVE

Reality – Si + present + present Present tense: If + present, present Si tengo el dinero, compro ropa. If I have the money, I buy clothes. Reality – Si + present + present When an ‘if clause’ expresses a situation that the speaker thinks of as true or definite, or when the speaker makes a basic assumption, si (if) is followed by a verb in the present or future tense.

Reality – Si + present + future Present tense: If + present, future Si tengo el dinero, compraré ropa. If I have the money, I will buy clothes. Reality – Si + present + future

Reality – Si + present + command Present tense: If + present, command Si tienes el dinero, compra ropa. If you have the money, buy me clothes. Reality – Si + present + command

Contrary-to-fact situations When an if clause expresses something that is hypothetical or contrary to fact or doubted, the verb that follows si (if) is in the past subjunctive tense. The corresponding verb in the second clause will be in the conditional tense.
