In 1994 Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) requested medical reports With the objective of assessing if the health of the worker is optimal for agricultural work The primary reason was that the incidence of tuberculosis is higher in Mexico than in Canada (14 out of every 100,000 persons in Mexico and 4 out of every 100,000 persons in Canada) In that same year, the Health Secretariat began preparing medical reports through the Health Services of the Federal District 1. HEALTH INSURANCE FOR WORKERS AND THEIR FAMILIES Changes to family quota have recently been made: Families or Individuals Deciles I - V DO NOT PAY 99.43% The Popular Insurance is a part of the social health protection system To enable persons who are not entitled to any social security system (IMSS, ISSSTE, PEMEX, etc.) to have access to medical care, surgery, pharmacies, and hospital services. The Federal Government and federative institutions seek to achieve universality of services, with a coverage of 100% of the population that does not have access to medical care
