Adjectives match the gender and number of the nouns they describe.  Adjectives that end in an –e are neither feminine nor masculine.  Adjectives that end in a consonant are neither feminine nor masculine.  Note: Some adjectives that end in a consonant add an –a to form the feminine singular form. These adjectives have to be memorized.  Ejemplo: trabajador (hard-working) trabajadora
