6 So…what is an infinitive?

7 An infinitive is the way a VERB appears in the dictionary. It means “to… something” Examples? An infinitive always ends in AR, ER or IR.

8 Be careful with that dictionary… When you look up a verb be sure that it is the VERB and not the NOUN you are writing down. If it is an action you are looking up, you want the VERB. 9 ¡Fenomenal! Now that you know how to find any verb you could ever possibly need, it’s time to learn a few tricks. As you know, you usually have to change the endings of verbs to say different things. Today we will learn how to make great sentences without needing to change the infinitive.
