Affirmative Commands (positive) Use the él/ella/ud. form of the verb Example: Hablar -> ¡Habla! (Speak!)

Negative Commands -AR Verbs Step 1- put the verb in the yo form Hablo Step 2- drop the “o” Habl Step 3- add “es” No hables (don’t speak!)

Irregular Positive Commands Hacer -> haz (make/do) ¡Haz la tarea! Ir -> ve (go) ¡Ve a la clase! Poner -> pon (put) ¡Pon tu cabeza en la basura! Salir -> sal (leave) ¡Sal de la clase! Ser -> sé (be) ¡Sé simpático! Tener -> ten (have) ¡Ten cuidado! Venir -> ven (come) ¡Ven aquí!

Commands with Direct Object Pronouns Attach the direct object pronoun (lo,la, los las) to the command. Example: Hacer la tarea ¡Hazla!
