Introduce yourself, name, age, birthday, where you are from, a description of yourself and what you like and don’t like, how many people are in your family and what are their names. 1. ¿Qué día es hoy? 2. ¿Qué día fue ayer? 3. ¿Qué día será mañana? 4. ¿Cuál es la fecha? 5. ¿Qué hora es? ¿Qué tiempo hace hoy? ¿Cuál es la estación? Choose two students who have not done the calendar recently, to do present it. Please write their names down, so that I can give them credit for doing it. El Bienvenido

Contesta las preguntas con frases completas: 1. ¿Qué te gusta más, ir al cine o ir al teatro? Me gusta más…. 2. ¿Cómo es la biblioteca en tu ciudad (city)? La biblioteca es… 3. ¿Cómo se llama tu heladería favorita? Mi heladería favorita se llama…. Have the students open their notebooks to section 1 La Campana. They need to answer these questions in Spanish in their notebooks. They can use their notes to help them. Give them about 7 minutes to complete this activity, then have them get with a partner and have a conversation practicing these questions and answers. You can have them do that with 3 different partners, which should take them about 5 minutes. Give them participation #1 Draw a street LA PARTICIPACION #1

Completa la ciudad Añaden el nombre de la ciudad Tienen 20 minutos LA PARTICIPACION #2 - #3 LOS APUNTES cerca de = close to lejos de = far from a la derecha de = to the right of a la izquierda de = to the left of entre = between Have the students get their maps from the back of the room and you can give them minutes to finish their maps. When they are done with that have them write the notes that are on this slide in Section 2 of their notebook. Give them participation 2 and 3 Draw a library and theater

5 El diario: Nuestra ciudad
Contesta las preguntas de tu ciudad: 1. ¿Cuántas casas hay? 2. ¿Cómo es la iglesia? 3. ¿Hay calles? ¿Cuántas? 4. ¿Cómo se llama la ciudad? 5. ¿De qué color es el restaurante? 6. ¿Te gusta la ciudad? ¿Por qué? LA PARTICIPACION #4 Have the students open their notebooks to section 5. Have them answer the questions about their city in their notebook. This could take about 10 minutes. When they are done, give them participation #4 Draw a restaurant

6 La tarea -due Viernes/lunes
Escribe 5 oraciones de la ciudad. Usa: cerca de, lejos de, a la derecha/izquierda de, entre Usa el verbo está (is located) Modelo: La biblioteca está lejos de la playa. LA PARTICIPACION #5 Have the students write down the homework on their pink homework paper. When they are done give them participation #5 Draw a museum. If you still need more for them to do, they can watch Tarzan the last few minutes of class. Thanks a bunch.
