2 ¿Te gustaría…..? Would you like….? Just like ‘Voy a…..’ it is always followed by an infinitive: ¿Te gustaría ir a la bolera? Would you like to go bowling?

3 ¿Quieres…..? Do you want….? Just like ‘Te gustaría…..’ it is always followed by an infinitive: ¿Quieres chatear por internet? Do you want to chat on the internet?

4 Invite your friend :  ¿Quieres/ Te gustaría bailar?

5 Invite your friend :  ¿Quieres/ Te gustaría ir de compras?

6 Invite your friend :  ¿Quieres/ Te gustaría jugar al futbolín?

7 Invite your friend :  ¿Quieres/ Te gustaría tomar el sol?

8 ¡No, no puedo! No, I can’t  Tengo que…. I have to This is yet another phrase that is followed by the infinitive: Tengo que hacer mis deberes. I have to do my homework.

9 Find the correct excuses : Tengo que ordenar mi dormitorio. I have to walk the dog. Tengo que pasear al perro. I have to wash my hair. No tengo dinero.I don’t have time. No tengo tiempo.I don’t have any money. Tengo que lavarme el pelo. I have to tidy my room.

10 querer = to want  quiero I want  quieres you want  quiere he/she wants  queremos we want  queréis you want  quieren they want ¡No quiero hacer mis deberes! We can use the verb ‘querer’ with the infinitive too.
