Affirmative & Negative Words
Alguno and ninguno also have different forms when placed before masculine singular nouns (i.e. pastel, café, pan) Ejemplos: no quiero ningún café. Quiero algún pan. Affirmative & Negative Words

Negative words no pido nada.
When a verb is preceded by a “no” (i.e. no quiero) all words that follow it MUST be negative. A double negative is REQUIRED in Spanish when “no” comes before the verb. Ejemplos: no me gustan ningunas ensaladas. no quiero ningún pan no pido nada. Negative words
6
If a negative word, such as “nunca” or “nadie” comes before the verb, a second negative verb is not needed. Ejemplos: las chicas nunca comen en la escuela. A nadie le gusta la sopa aquí. Negative Words
