4 STATES OF MATTER PROJECT Make a 4 page booklet to show your understanding of solids, liquids, and gases. Page 1: Cover page. Neatly print the title of the project in fancy letters. Also write your name, your teacher’s name and date. Draw and color a picture on the cover too. Hacer un folleto de 4 páginas para mostrar su comprensión de los sólidos, líquidos y gases. Página 1: Página de cubierta. Perfectamente imprimir el título del proyecto en letras de fantasía. También escriba su nombre, su el nombre del maestro y la fecha. Dibujar y colorear un dibujo en la portada también.

Then search through old magazines, newspapers, the internet, or take your own pictures of solid matter. Cut out the pictures and neatly arrange them on the top of the page. Label each picture. You should include 5 or more pictures of solid matter. Página 2: Página de sólidos. En la mitad inferior de la página prolijamente escriba a máquina a las características de sólidos materia. 14 ENERGY Kinetic Energy is the energy of movement. Particles with more movement have more kinetic energy. Particles with less movement have less kinetic energy

19 SOLIDS, LIQUIDS, AND GASES CARD GAME (GROUPS OF 3) You must try to collect all the card which describe the state of matter shown on your picture card. Each player will choose a picture card. (Do not show the picture card to your partners) Shuffle the other cards and spread them out face down. Take turns turning over a card. If it describes your picture card keep it. If not return it to the pile. The game continues until each person had a complete set. Usted debe tratar de recoger todas las tarjetas que describen el estado de la materia que aparece en su tarjeta de imagen. Cada jugador elegirá una tarjeta de imagen. (No mostrar la tarjeta de la foto para sus socios) Baraja las otras tarjetas y los extendió boca abajo. Por turnos, que dan vuelta a una carta. Si describe su tarjeta de foto guardan. The other pile would describe how the “particle theory” explains these observations. Do the same with liquids and gases.
