9 p. 153 When you want to explain something that is going to happen, you conjugate the verb “ir”. Next, include “a”… Then, you add the infinitive form of another verb. Example: Yo voy a comer chicharrones. = I’m going to eat chicharrones. Remember: the “infinitive form” is the base form of a verb or the “to ____” form.

10 More examples: He is going to swim. = Él va a nadar. You are going to visit your cousins. = Tú vas a visitar a tus primos. On Monday, we are going to sing. = El lunes, nosotros vamos a cantar. She is going to rest. = Ella va a descansar.
