2 Stem-changing Verbs: What is a stem-changing verb?
A verb that has a spelling change in the stem What is the “stem” of a verb? What is left when the AR, ER or IR is removed How exactly will the stems change? There are THREE major types of stem changes: o  ue e  ie e  i u  ue (ONLY the verb “jugar” has this change!!) These are the 3 main types of stem changers!

Does the stem change occur in every subject pronoun? NO!! It is occurs in all pronouns EXCEPT nosotros and vosotros Are the conjugation endings still the same? LUCKILY .... YES!!!! So let’s review them...
