2 1. What is a pronoun in English? Pronouns take the place of a noun in a sentence They replace what’s called the antecedent For example, if I said – “Tori is the craziest, she breakdances on top of buildings!” Tori would be the antecedent, and she would be the pronoun

In Spanish, like in English, there are different types of pronouns We are going to focus on the SUBJECT pronouns They are either singular or plural: Plural – nosotros, nosotraswe – vosotros, vosotrasyou (only in Spain) – ustedesyou (y’all) – ellosthey (masculine) – ellasthey (feminine) Singular: – yoI – túyou (familiar) – ustedyou (formal) – élhe – ellashe Note the accent marks over tú [to distinguish it from tu meaning “your”] and él [to distinguish it from el meaning “the”].
