Breve Descripción del Proyecto: Diseño, construcción, equipamiento, puesta en marcha, operación y mantenimiento de 2 plantas de tratamiento de aguas residuales. Planta Norte 2.5 m3 /seg. Planta Sur 1.0 m 3/seg. Project Name and Location : North and South Wastewater Treatment Plants Project and Supplemental Sewerage Projects for Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua. Type of Project: Wastewater Total Cost in USD Million: $31.16 Project Description: The projects have been described as fundamental components to the general urban sanitation program for wastewater collection and treatment in Ciudad Juárez, and are comprised of the following: · Two wastewater treatment plants, North and South, which will provide Advanced Primary Treatment (APT). This type of treatment allows the effluent to be used for agricultural irrigation purposes. · Supplemental sanitation projects that will include new conveyance lines for drainage and sewerage lines. · Supplemental projects that will rehabilitate and replace the sanitary sewerage lines in various sectors of the city. Community Benefits: The project will benefit 1.2 million residents of the City of Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua. Tipo de Proyecto: Tratamiento de Aguas Residuales Costo Total en Millones de Dólares: $31.16 Descripción del Proyecto: Los proyectos se describen como parte fundamental de un programa general de saneamiento urbano en materia de aguas residuales en Ciudad Juárez y contemplan: · Dos Plantas de Tratamiento de Aguas Residuales Norte y Sur con un tipo de Tratamiento Primario Avanzado (T.P.A.) el cual permite obtener un efluente de calidad para ser reusada en riego agrícola. · Obras complementarias de saneamiento con nuevas líneas de conducción de drenaje y obras de alcantarillado. · Obras complementarias de rehabilitación y reposición de alcantarillado sanitario en diferentes zonas de la ciudad.
