4 12 de octubre Día de la Fiesta Nacional de España The Fiesta Nacional is Tthe national day of Spain. It is held annually on October 12 and is a national holiday. It commemorates the anniversary of Cristóbal Colón first arrival in the Americas a day also celebrated in other countries.

5 Constitution Day Constitution Day (Día de la Constitución) marks the anniversary of a referendum held in Spain on December 6, 1978. In this referendum, a new constitution was approved. This was an important step in Spain's transition to becoming a constitutional monarchy and democracy.

6 Autonomous holiday On the second of May ( Dos de Mayo), 1808, the people of Madrid rebelled against the occupation of the city by French troops, which cause a brutal repression by the French Imperial Forces and triggering the Peninsular War 2 May was chosen as a public holiday in the region of Madrid

8 DÍA DE TODOS LOS SANTOS El Día de Todos los Santos es una tradición cristiana que se celebra en nuestro país el primer día de noviembre. El motivo principal es recordar y honrar a todos los parientes fallecidos. Los dulces más comunes del “Día de todos los Santos son los”Buñuelos 'de viento' y los huesos de Santo'.

10 La noche del 5 de enero, todos los niños dejan sus zapatos en un lugar visible de la casa o en el balcón, y se retiran a dormir con la ilusión de despertar y descubrir los regalos que les han dejado Melchor, Gaspar y Baltasar. Para desayunar, o después de comer, la familia toma el dulce típico de este día: el roscón de Reyes. 11 SEMANA SANTA(Viernes santo) La Semana Santa en España es espectacular. En España se celebran procesiones maravillosas y estremecedoras, casi en todas partes. Se saca de las iglesias a las imágenes de los Cristos o de las Vírgenes o Cruces, para que salgan en la procesión. Estas imágenes son llevadas por las cofradías a la que pertenece cada imagen.

14 LAS FALLAS DE VALENCIA: March 19. The Falles is a traditional celebration held in commemoration of Saint Joseph in the city of Valencia, in Spain. The term Falles refers to both the celebration and the monuments created during the celebration. A number of towns in the Valencian Community have similar celebrations inspired by the original one in Valencia.

16 The Seville Fair Feria de abril The Seville Fair (Spanish: Feria de abril de Sevilla, "Seville April Fair") is held in the Andalusian capital of Sevilla, Spain. The fair generally begins two weeks after the Semana Santa, or Easter Holy Week. The fair officially begins at midnight on Monday, and runs six days, ending on the following Sunday. Each day the fiesta begins with the parade of carriages and riders, at midday, carrying Seville's leading citizens which make their way to the bullring, La Real Maestranza, where the bullfighters and breeders meet.

18 San Isidro's Feast Day One of the most celebrated holidays of Madrid is held on May 15, the Feast Day of San Isidro who is the city's patron saint as well as the patron saint of farmers. The traditional festival and feast are held in an open-air area known as the Pradera del Santo.

20 During the San Isidro celebrations, the other attraction is of course bullfigtng. The San Isidro bullfighting festival is Spain's most important. This is where the best bullfighters, and bulls can be seen at the Las Ventas bullring during almost a month.

21 24 DE JUNIO,SAN JUAN La festividad de San Juan, el 24 de junio ( muy cercano al solsticio de verano) se celebra en muchos lugares de España. El gran protagonista de la Noche de San Juan, la víspera del 24 de junio, es el fuego, cuyo fin no sólo es rendir tributo al sol, sino también purificar los pecados del hombre. Se arrojan a las llamas ropas viejas, papeles, y cualquier objeto que represente un mal recuerdo, y así se expulsan los malos sucesos de los doce meses anteriores.

22 San Fermín,7 July The festival of San Fermín in the city of Pamplona (Navarra,Spain), is a deeply rooted celebration held annually from 12:00, 6 July, when the opening of the party is marked by setting off the pyrotechnic chupinazo to midnight 14 July, with the singing of the Pobre de Mí. While its most famous event is the encierro, or the running of the bulls, which happens at 8:00 am from July 7th to July 14th, the week long celebration involves many other traditional and folkloric events. It is known locally as Sanfermines and is held in honor of San Fermín, the co-patron of Navarre.
