3 God has a purpose in everything He Does. He has never engaged in idleness. He had never done something just for the sake of doing it. God has a purpose in giving the Bible to man. Those purposes will be accomplished. Dios siempre tiene un propósito en todo lo que hace. El nunca se mantiene en ociosidad. El nunca ha hecho algo simplemente por la sencilla razón de hacerlo. Dios tuvo un propósito cuando dio la Biblia al hombre Esos propósitos van a ser cumplidos.

4 Isaiah 55:8-11 Isaiah 55:8-11… For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways," says the L ORD. 9 "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts. 10 "For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater, 11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. Isaías 55:8-11… Porque mis pensamientos no son vuestros pensamientos, ni vuestros caminos mis caminos declara el S EÑOR. 9 Porque como los cielos son más altos que la tierra, así mis caminos son más altos que vuestros caminos, y mis pensamientos más que vuestros pensamientos. 10 Porque como descienden de los cielos la lluvia y la nieve, y no vuelven allá sino que riegan la tierra, haciéndola producir y germinar, dando semilla al sembrador y pan al que come, 11 así será mi palabra que sale de mi boca, no volverá a mí vacía sin haber realizado lo que deseo, y logrado el propósito para el cual la envié.

5 In this lesson we will explore some of the reasons God gave man the Bible especially considering those which pertain to man salvation. The first answer is: God gave men the Bible in order: En esta lección vamos a explorar algunas de las razones del por qué Dios dio la Biblia al hombre especialmente considerando esas partes que pertenecen a la salvación. La Primera contestación es: Dios dio la Biblia al hombre para:

6 To Tell Man He Is Lost. Decirle al hombre que está perdido.

7 If God has not given man the Bible, man would not have known: About heaven or hell or sin. He is lost. He has a need for a Savior. Si Dios no le hubiera dado la Biblia al hombre este no supiera: Acerca del cielo, del infierno o del pecado. Que está perdido. Que necesita de un salvador.

8 Every effort to save man has been and will continue to be futile until he is made to recognize he is lost and needs salvation. As the person who has a physical illness must know of that illness and that he is in need of medical attention, the sinner must know of his spiritual sickness and see his need for salvation. Until one recognizes that he needs to be saved from his condition, he will never make the changes that he must make in his life that will put into effect his salvation. Cualquier esfuerzo por salvar al hombre ha sido y será inútil si este no reconoce que esta perdido y que necesita salvación. Como la persona que tiene una enfermedad esta debe saber de esa enfermedad y que esta en necesidad de ayuda medica, el pecador necesita saber de su enfermedad espiritual y debe mirar la necesidad de salvación. Hasta que uno reconozca que necesita ser salvo de sus condición, el nunca hará los cambios que el debe para poner en efecto la salvación en su vida.

9 Sin dooms man to be lost. God created men as a pure, upright beings (Ecclesiastes 7:29). When man disobeyed God and sinned, he was separated from God. (Genesis 3:23-24). As sin separated the first man from God, sin separates man from God today. (Isaiah 59:1-2; Ephesians 2:12). Man, because of his sin, is lost and doomed to eternal death-Separation from God in the place of eternal punishment. (Romans 6:23; Matthew 25:41-46). How would man have known this if God had not given him the Bible? El pecado condenó a los hombres a estar perdidos Dios creo and hombre puro y limpio desde el principio (Eclesiastés 7:29) Cuando el hombre desobedeció y peco. Fue entonces que quedo separado de Dios (Génesis 3:23-24). Así como el pecado separo al primer hombre, así mismo el pecado sigue separando al hombre de Dios. (Isaías 59:1-2; Efesios 2:12). Debido al pecado, el hombre esta perdido y condenado a muerte eterna- separado de Dios a un lugar de castigo eterno (Romanos 6:23; Mateo 25:41- 46). Como hubiera el hombre sabido esto si Dios no le hubiera dado la Biblia?

10 To assure Man That He Desires All To Be Saved. Asegurarle Al Hombre Su Deseo De Que Todos Sean Salvos. The second answer is: God gave men the Bible in order: La segunda respuesta es: Dios dio la Biblia al hombre para:

11 The Bible clearly states that it is the desire of God that all be saved. (1 Tim 2:3-4; 2 Peter 3:9). Truth, the word of God (John 17:17), is his means of salvation. La Biblia claramente enseña que el deseo de Dios es que todos sean salvos (1 Tim 2:3-4; 2 Pedro 3:9). La verdad, la palabra de Dios (Juan 17:17), es el medio de Salvación.

12 It is His the power unto salvation (Romans 1:16) It has the power to free men from sin. (John 8:32). It thoroughly furnishes man with all he needs to know in relation to life and godliness. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:3). Es poder de Dios para salvación (Romanos 1:16). Tiene el poder de librar a los hombres del pecado (Juan 8:32). 13 In the Bible one learns of the wonderful love God manifests toward mankind. His love allowed His Son to die as a sacrifice for sin. (John 3:16-17; Romans 5:8). Such shows Gods intense desire for the salvation of every soul. En la Biblia uno aprende como el gran amor de Dios es manifestado hacia la humanidad. Fue su amor quien permitió que enviara a su Hijo a ser sacrificado por el Pecado (Juan 3:16-17; Romanos 5:8) Eso mostró el amor que Dios tiene para todas las almas.

14 The Bible reveals that Christ built His church to stand forever as a heaven of refuge for all who would obey him and be saved (Matthew 16:18-19). Every soul that is saved is added it to it. (Acts 2:47). The Bible shows people how they may be part of Christs church. La Biblia revela que Cristo edificó su iglesia para que permanezca siempre como refugio para todos los que obedezcan and sean salvos (Mateo 16:18-19). Cada alma que es salva es agregada a ella. (Hechos 2:47). La Biblia enseña a la gente a como ser parte de la iglesia de Cristo.

15 To Explain All He Has Done To Save Man. Para Explicar Todo lo que El ha hecho para salvar al hombre. The third answer is: God gave men the Bible in order: La tercera respuesta: Dios dio la Biblia al hombre:

16 God created man an intelligent being. Man is able to reason, study and understand. (Genesis 1:26) God gave men the Bible to read and to study so that he might learn and understand the way of salvation. Dios creo al hombre como ser inteligente. El hombre es capaz de razonar, estudiar y entender. (Génesis 1:26) Dios dio al hombre la Biblia para que lea y estudie y así pueda aprender y entender el camino de la salvación.

17 The way of Salvation. In the Old Testament: El camino de Salvación. En el Antiguo Testamento. God chose Abraham from whom He would develop a nation of people. (Genesis 12:1-3). God cultivated and tutored that nation for hundreds of years that through it He might bring the Savior, Jesus Christ, into the world. Dios escogió a Abraham por quien El desarrollaría una nación. (Génesis 12:1-3). Dios cultivo y educo esa nación por cientos de años para que por medio de ella viniera el Salvador, Cristo Jesús, al mundo.

18 He blessed them when they were obedient but severely punished them when they had departed from His way. We know all of this because God has given it to us in the Bible so that we might benefit from it (1 Corinthians 10:7-11; Romans 15:4). Los bendijo cuando fueron obedientes y los castigo cuando estos se apartaron de sus caminos. Sabemos todo esto porque Dios nos dio la Biblia para que así nos beneficiáramos de ellos. 19 In the New Testament one learns: En el Nuevo Testamento uno aprende: Of the sacrificial death, the victorious resurrection and the glorious coronation of Christ as King over His kingdom. (Acts 2:22-36). Of the establishment of the church (Acts 2:1). That the word of God has been given to serve as mans infallible guide in all matters pertaining to life and godliness (2 Tim 3:16- 17; 2 Peter 1:3 Del la muerte sacrificial, y la resurrección victoriosa y de la gloriosa coronación de Cristo como Rey sobre su Reino. 20 The fourth answer is: God gave men the Bible in order: La cuarta respuesta: Dios dio la Biblia al hombre: To Reveal The Meaning Of Salvation. Para Revelar El Significado De Salvación.

21 Many people today either completely misunderstand or only partially understand the great subject of salvation. Mucha gente hoy ya sea malinterpreta o solamente entienden parcialmente al gran tema de la salvación. There is no excuse for either of the above situations. God has revealed His way of salvation in such a way that all can understand it (Ephesians 3:1-5). No hay excusa para ninguna de la situaciones de arriba. Dios ha revelado sus caminos en una manera en que podemos entenderla (Efesios 3:1-5)

22 The bible reveals: The meaning of salvation. When one complies with Gods conditions of pardon all his sins are forgiven never to be remembered against him. The destiny of salvation. The end of the way of salvation is an eternal home in heaven and a crown of life. The message of salvation. The method by which one is saved is belief in and obedience to Jesus Christ. La Biblia revela: El significado de la salvación. Cuando uno cumple con los requisitos de Dios del perdón todos nuestros pecados son perdonados y nunca son recordados en contra de el. El destino de la salvación. El fin del camino de la salvación es una casa eterna en el cielo y una corona de justicia. El mensaje de salvación. El método por el cual uno es salvo es por la fe y la obediencia a Cristo Jesús.

23 The fifth answer is: God gave men the Bible in order: La quinta respuesta: Dios dio la Biblia al hombre To Reveal What One Must Do To Be Saved. Para Revelar Lo Que Uno Debe Hacer Para Ser Salvo.

24 From the beginning of time, God has always revealed what He desires of man. The Bible reveals that the principle which effect salvations has been the same in every dispensation. Fear God and keep his commandments (Ecclesiastes 12:13). Fear God and work righteousness (Acts 10:34-35). Desde el principio del tiempo, Dios siempre ha revelado que es lo que El desea del hombre. La Biblia revela que la regla que afecta la salvación ha sido siempre la misma en cada dispensación. Teme a Dios y guarda sus mandamientos (Eclesiastés 12:13). Teme a Dios y has justicia (Hechos 10:34,35).

25 God has revealed in the gospel what people must now do to be saved. One must obey Jesus Christ and his gospel. (Hebrews 5:8-9). In order to be saved, one must: Dios ha revelado en el evangelio lo que la gente debe hacer para ser salvo. Uno debe obedecer a Cristo Jesús y su evangelio. (Hebreos 5:8-9). 26 Hear the gospel, the word of God. (Romans 10:17) Believe in both Father and Son (Hebrews 11:6; John 8:24). Repent of his sins (Acts 17:30-31). Confess his faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 10:10; Matthew 10:32). Be baptized for the remission of sins (Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38; 22:16; 1 Peter 3:21). Oír el evangelio, la Palabra de Dios (Romanos 10:17). Creer en ambos el Padre y el Hijo (Hebreos 11:6; Juan 8:24). Arrepentirse de sus pecados (Hechos 17:30,31). Confesar su fe en Jesús. (Romanos 10:10; Mateo 10:32). Ser bautizados para la remisión de los pecados (Marcos 16:16; Hechos 2:38; 22:16; 1 Pedro 3:21).

27 The sixth answer is: God gave men the Bible in order: La sexta respuesta: Dios dio la Biblia al hombre para: To Reveal What One Must Do To Keep Saved. Revelarnos Lo Que Debemos Hacer Para Mantener Nuestra Salvación.

28 The Lord realized his disciples would need help to keep saved. He understood they would be surrounded with worldly influences and that temptations would be strong. He knew that the cares, riches and pleasures of this life would tempt many to leave Him. El Señor sabe que sus discípulos va a necesitar ayuda para mantener su salvación. El entendió que ellos iban a estar rodeados de influencias mundanales y que las tentaciones iban a ser fuertes. El sabia que las distracciones, las riquezas y los placeres de esta vida iban a tentar a muchos y así dejarlo a El.

29 Jesus prayed to His father in behalf of His disciples that God might sanctify them by your truth: Your Word is Truth. (John 17:17) This prayer reveals how one may remain saved. To sanctify means to set apart or separate from the world and to consecrate oneself to God. Jesús oro a su Padre a favor de sus discípulos que Dios los santificara a ellos por la verdad: Tu palabra es verdad (Juan 17:17). Esta oración revela como uno puede mantenerse salvo. El santificar significa ser separado, o poner aparte del mundo y ser consagrado uno a Dios.

30 This is accomplished by the word of God. When one applies the Word of God to himself and lives by it, he is in fellowship with both the Father and Son (2 John 9), and thus has salvation. One must keep the commands of God being faithful even to the point of death (Revelations 2:10), and he will receive the crown of life on the final day. Esto es obtenido por la palabra de Dios. Cuando uno aplica la palabra de Dios a uno mismo y la vive, este esta en comunión con ambos el Padre Y El Hijo (2 Juan 9) y por ende tiene salvación. Uno debe guardar los mandamientos de Dios y serle fiel aun al punto de la muerte (Apocalipsis 2:10). Y así recibiremos la corona de justicia en el día final.

31 Conclusion: Gods purpose in giving man the Bible is only fulfill when each person learns its message and apply it to his life so that he might have the salvation of his soul. Have you obey the Word of God so that you might have your sins forgiven and be saved?Conclusión: El propósito de Dios al dar la Biblia al hombre se cumple solamente cuando la persona aprende el mensaje y lo aplica a su vida para que así pueda tener la salvación de su alma. Ha obedecido usted la palabra del Señor para así tener el perdón de sus pecados y ser salvo?

32 Hear the gospel, the word of God. (Romans 10:17) Believe in both Father and Son (Hebrews 11:6; John 8:24). Repent of his sins (Acts 17:30-31).
