2 In English We form the future tense by using the word will before a verb: We will play tomorrow. We also use the phrase “ going to” before a verb to express what will happen in the future : We are going to play tomorrow

3 What we already know in Spanish You have already learned to refer to future events by using “ ir + a + infinitive” to say “ going to” Ex: Voy a jugar mañana. I am going to play tomorrow. Vamos a comer en el restaurante mañana. We are going to eat in the restaurant tomorrow.
