Just like in English, Spanish uses several different words for measurment. La velocidad=Speed El peso=Weight El volumen=Volume El largo=Length La altura=Height El ancho=Width La temperatura =Temperature

Verbs for measurement. Medir =to measure Mi nariz mide 4 centímetros de largo. My nose is 4 centimeters long. Pesar = to weigh Mi perro pesa 20 kilos. My dog weighs 20 kilos. Estar a = to be at (a temperature) El agua está a 100 grados. The water is at 100 degrees.
