1 The Peterson Schools is proud to announce that its new website is up and running. The layout has been completely redesigned with simplicity, ease of use and accessibility in mind. The new website will enhance communication and provide our community with better resources. On the new website we will be rolling out new content about our education programs. This includes our new Student Information System (SIS) which will be introduced progressively in the coming months and new applications that will improve communications with our community of parents, students and teachers. The new website seeks to consolidate the integration of our community through the use of social networks. Join up now! We hope you enjoy the new website. 2 Social Media The use of social networks such as Facebook and Twitter requires rules to regulate their use and maximize their efficiency. Our goal in using these social networks is to strengthen the integration of the members of the Peterson Community; students, parents, teachers, staff and alumni. Anyone can access our Facebook page and enjoy its content. Policies 1.Social media complements but does not substitute our traditional means of communication such as bulletins, weekly messages, e-mails, etc. 2.Social media must not be used to send messages. school bus permits or permits for special occasions. 3.These social media will project institutional image of the Peterson community. It is a public forum. You must take into consideration that all data, comments and information posted will be seen by all of the users of these social media. 4.These spaces are a forum for constructive exchange of information. They are not spaces to create controversy or discredit other people. Suggestions, complaints or demands must not be aired on these spaces but be directed to the existing channels the Peterson Schools has already created for this purpose. 5.All users of these spaces must assume personal responsibility for their contributions and the potential consequences to their personal image and reputation and to that of the Peterson Schools. 6.All users of these spaces must treat other users with respect. They must use appropriate language and be congruent with the Peterson Values. 7.We recommend that users and visitors to these spaces do not share personal information with anyone. 8.These media cannot be used to publish promotional material, to buy or sell products or services of other institutions or as an employment exchange. 9.You can only download content, copy or print out information shared on these media for your personal and private use. 10.For security reasons, you are not allowed to "tag" photos or videos published in these media. 11.If a user wishes to remove an image in which he/she appears or in which their children or family members appear, they must immediately send an e-mail request to comunicadoscuajimalpa@peterson.mx indicating the date and title of the publication as well as including a description of the image. 12.To ensure the appropriate use of these forums, the Peterson Schools, as site administrator, reserves the right to eliminate, without the right of reply, any contribution that it considers illegal, disrespectful, inappropriate, or ethically or socially discriminatory or does not correspond to the values of the institution or the Peterson community. 13.These forums are subject to the rules of conduct and images described in the Peterson Schools' student rules, parent rules and internal regulations.

5 Redes Sociales El uso de redes sociales como Facebook y Twitter como herramientas de comunicación requiere de ciertos lineamientos para regular su uso y maximizar su efectividad. El uso de estas redes sociales tiene como objetivo fortalecer la integración entre alumnos, padres, profesores, staff y ex alumnos de la Comunidad Peterson, pero no se limita exclusivamente a ellos. Toda persona que así lo desee puede tener acceso a nuestra página de Facebook y disfrutar del contenido del mismo. Políticas: 1.Este medio no sustituye de ninguna manera los medios tradicionales de comunicación como son las circulares semanales, los correos masivos, etc. 2.Este medio no debe ser utilizado para el envío de mensajes, permisos de transporte y situaciones especiales. 3.Este medio permite dar a conocer al público en general la imagen institucional de nuestra comunidad, por lo tanto debe considerarse que es un foro público.
