2 El problema de las ocho reinas. Destaca en este caso el antiguo problema de Gauss de determinar de cuántas maneras es posible colocar ocho reinas en un tablero de ajedrez de tal manera que ninguna pueda atacar a la otra. La respuesta es que hay 92 formas posibles, de las cuales son 12 fundamentales y el resto derivadas de las mismas soluciones.
