Week of September 26th-30th  Upcoming Events The Teacher’s Scoop! Great things from this week: Retelling stories, learning “Word Work,” addition practice, character and setting writing, and syllable practice. Office Reminders No transportation changes will be accepted by phone, , fax or text due to pick up alerts and custody issues. If a change needs to be made you will have to bring a note to the office by 11:00am. 9/28 – Progress Reports 10/7 – No School – Teacher Workday What We Are Learning Next Week Reading: Retelling stories, including key details Daily 5: Intro to “Work on Writing” and starting full force Daily 5 Rotations LetterLand: Syllables and understanding spoken words and sounds (phonemes) Writing: Main Idea and Supporting Details Math: Addition Number Sentences, stories about joining, and adding in any order Spelling Words: win, big, pick, pin, six, thick, with, fix, thin, kick, likes, to, this, he Sentences: This is a big hat. Pam likes to kick. Spelling Test will be Friday!
