Open Networking Foundation (ONF) es una organización enfocada en el usuario dedicada a la promoción y adopción de Software-Defined Networking (SDN) por medio del desarrollo de estandares abiertos. ONF se enfoca en proceso de desarrollo abierto y colaborativo, impulsado por la perspectiva del usuario final. Nuestro logro bandera a la fecha, es la introduccion del OpenFlow™ Standard, el cual permite la programación remota del plano de datos de un switch. El OpenFlow Standard es el primer estandar SDN y un elemento vital de una arquitectura abierta SDN.
