3 Diseño de bancos de trabajo
A lo largo de sus vidas, los empleados pasarán en promedio más de 10,000 días en su puesto de trabajo. Pero el número de veces que repetirán ciertos movimientos es todavía mayor. Como resultado, la postura, los movimientos y los procesos tienen enormes consecuencias. Si los procedimientos se pueden mejorar en tan solo un 10%, el resultado sería el ahorro de 1,000 días de trabajo (equivalente a 4 años). La estación de trabajo es una parte integral del proceso de producción. Lo que se hace en una estación de trabajo se relaciona de una u otra forma con las demás estaciones de trabajo, por lo que decimos que cada puesto de trabajo debe ser tratado como parte del proceso de producción. El término „logística de la estación de trabajo“ cubre las siguientes partes: Materiales, materias primas, herramientas, accesorios, información El material y la información fluyen a la estación de trabajo de fuentes exteriores. Basado en la información que recibe, el empleado usa su know-how, materiales y herramientas para procesar la pieza de trabajo de acuerdo a los requerimientos. Él necesita cierta cantidad de tiempo en orden de ejecutar su trabajo. En la planeación de trabajo moderna, el tiempo es el criterio más importante en la eficiencia de cualquier proceso productivo. Tiempos objetivos pueden ser planeados de antemano para todas las fases del proceso. Estos tiempos objetivos son estandarizados usando el MTM (methods-time measurement). Los movimientos estándar, sequencias de movimiento y alcance, sirven como la base para la medición de los tiempos objetivos. Ésta información es usada para planear la ubicación de los materiales, ayudas y herramientas. Hay una conexión directa entre los tiempos objetivos y el diseño de estaciones de trabajo ergonómicas: reglas de ergonomía y seguridad se deben tomar en cuenta a la hora de planear los procesos productivos. Es en este punto donde la disposición adecuada de materiales, piezas de trabajo y ayudas juegan un rol clave. The key to achieving the correct ergonomic layout of a work bench is to optimise the interface between the user and the logistics system. The work bench must be treated as a dynamic position that is manned by a moving human employee. Any form of ergonomic work bench planning has to start with the characteristics of this employee, the space within which he can move and the distances that he can reach. Changing working position (sometimes sitting, sometimes standing) and posture is also good for the health of employees, where the nature of the work permits this flexibility. Changes to products and/or volumes can mean that work needs to be re-planned and consequently work benches must offer a high degree of flexibility: On the one hand, in terms of the interlinking of work benches and, on the other hand, as regards changes to the actual working processes that are carried out at the benches. Cutting-edge work benches are not isolated islands but rather interconnected points in a networked production system. They need to be able to send and receive information as integral components in a production control and material flow system. Flexible information provision is required for flexible workflow planning. A PC with monitor is essential for complex production control systems. Network Socket RJ45: RJ plug connections are interface connectors that have been standardised by the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for use in telecommunications cabling (Western plugs). The standards describe the shape of plugs and sockets and their pin assignments and are designated by the letters RJ – which stands for "Registered Jack" – followed by a number (e.g. RJ-45 - with or without the hyphen). Network Socket USB: The USB (Universal Serial Bus) is a serial data transfer system used to connect a computer with external devices. USB-capable devices or storage media can be interconnected when the unit is up and running. Distribution Strip Unit FI: Extremely small currents (30 mA), which can be generated by a defective electrical installation or damaged devices for example, can cause the power supply to be cut by the earth-leakage circuit-breaker. This protects the personal safety of employees by preventing electric shock. The second function of our FI unit is overload protection. ESD – a crucial requirement The ability to dissipate electrostatic charges is a crucial requirement for any modern work bench. Measuring devices, production equipment and of course electronic workpiece components themselves – all of these can be damaged or destroyed by charges. A work bench concept must take into account all the components involved in a process, make all the corresponding accessories available to the operator and involve the employees themselves.
