Escribe en español. (¿Puedes hacerlo sin mirar tu lista?) 1.I cut my hair 2.he washes his face 3.we wake up 4.you shave 5.they brush their teeth 6.I take a shower 7.we dry ourselves 8.she paints her nails

Escribe en español. 1.our wedding 2.my deodorant 3.your brush 4.his gel 5.her jewelry 6.my belt 7.our cologne 8.their date 9.your towel Remember - Possessive Adjectives en español: mi(s), tu(s), su(s), nuestro(s)(a)(as), su(s)

Possessive Adjectives: You already learned the short form of possessive adjectives: Remember that these adjectives come before the noun and agree with the noun in number and gender. nuestro libro (our book) nuestros libros (our books) nuestras joyas (our jewelry) mi/mis (my)nuestro/nuestra/ (our) nuestros/nuestras tu/tus (your) su/sus (his/her)su/sus (their)

Another way to talk about possession… These possessive adjectives come after the noun (and still agree in number and gender with the noun). These forms are often used for emphasis. Long Form of Possessive Adjectives mío / mía míos / mías nuestro / nuestra nuestros / nuestras tuyo / tuya tuyos / tuyas suyo / suya suyos / suyas suyo / suya suyos / suyas

Ejemplos: – Voy a la boda con mi amigo. - I’m going to the wedding with my friend. – Voy a la boda con un amigo mío. - I’m going to the wedding with a friend of mine. – ¿Dónde está el cinturon tuyo? - Where is your belt?

These possessive adjectives may also be used without the noun. – Ejemplos: ¿Estas chaquetas son tuyas? - Are these jackets yours? Sí, son mías. - Yes, they are mine. ¿Este libro es tuyo? - Is this book yours? No, no es mío. - No, it’s not mine.

To clarify or emphasize possession, you can use de + a noun or pronoun instead of a form of suyo. Aquí está un collar suyo. = un collar de Ud./él/Uds./ellos/ellas. – Here is a necklace of yours/his/hers/theirs.

¡A practicar! Rewrite each phrase with the long form of possessive adjectives. Modelo: mi peine => el peine mío 1.su amigo 2.nuestro cinturón 3.mis joyas 4.su desodorante 5.nuestra cita 6.su boda
