3 my – mi/mis your – tu/tus his, her, their – su/sus our – nuestro/nuestra/nuestros/nuestras Tus joyas son muy bonitas. Mi secador está roto.

4 Spanish possessive adjectives also have a long form that comes after the noun. mío/mía/míos/mías (mine) tuyo/tuya/tuyos/tuyas (yours) suyo/suya/suyos/suyas (his,hers,theirs) nuestro/nuestra/nuestros/nuestras (ours)

5 Ejemplos: Voy al partido con un amigo mío. I am going to the game with a friend of mine. ¿Vas al baile con unos amigos tuyos? Are you going to the dance with some friends of yours?

6 ¿Estas chaquetas son suyas? Are these jackets yours? (Uds.) Sí, son nuestras. Yes, they are ours.

7 ¡Este premio es mío! ¡No, no es tuyo! ¡Es mío!

8 ¿Cómo se dice…? These shoes are mine. Estos zapatos son míos. The towel is yours. La toalla es tuya. The belt is his. El cinturón es suyo.

9 ¿Es tu peine? Sí el peine es mío. ¿Es el secador de tu hermano? Sí, es suyo.
