3 GUSTAR There are only two forms of the verb: GUSTA – if we like one thing or activity Me gusta el chocolate Me gusta escuchar música GUSTAN – if we like things Me gustan los deportes acuáticos

4 GUSTAR As well as the verb, we need a pronoun to tell us who likes what. Chocolate is pleasing to me OR Holidays are pleasing to her. Therefore, the verb gustar always has two words. Me gusta el chocolate OR Le gustan las vacaciones.

5 GUSTAR Me Te Le Nos Os Les gusta el cine estudiar gustan los chicos los helados

6 GUSTAR So we always need a pronun (me, te, le, nos, os, les) + gusta or gustan In adition, we can add the extended forms (a mí, a ti, a él-ella, a nosotros, a vosotros, a ellos) but mainly if they clarify things.
