2 Scenario…  You are a college student attending a fossil dig with your paleontology professor. A paleontologist is a scientist who studies fossils. The dig requires several days of careful work. As you uncover more of the fossils, you must try and conclude what happened when the fossils were created.  Usted es un estudiante universitario de asistir a una excavación de fósiles con su profesor de paleontología. La excavación requiere de varios días de trabajo cuidadoso. A medida que descubren más de los fósiles, usted debe tratar de concluir lo que ocurrió cuando se crearon los fósiles.

3 Trace fossils  During the dig, you uncover some footprints of an early animal you presume to be a dinosaur.  Footprints are considered to be a trace fossil – fossils that provide evidence of the activities of ancient organisms.  Durante la excavación, a descubrir algunas huellas de un animal a principios te atreves a ser un dinosaurio.  Las huellas son considerados como un rastro fósil - fósiles que ofrecen pruebas de las actividades de organismos antiguos.
