Big Idea An adjective is a word that describes a noun. You’ve learned many of them as part of our vocabulary. You can create adjectives in Spanish by taking a verb and creating what is called a past participle.

Construction To form a past participle, you drop the ending and add… AR Verbs ado ER/IR Verbs ido Verbs like Leer ído Then, since the word you’re looking for is an ADJECTIVE, you can switch the O to an A, OS, or AS to match the noun you are describing.
