Remember, gustar is used to say what people do or do not like. It is used this way: You can also use gustar to say what you do or do not like to do. The unconjugated form of a verb. In Spanish, it always ends in -ar, -er, or –ir! Pick one depending on who it is that likes something: The infinitive of the verb: (In English, it always has to in front of it) me nos te os le les + + gusta correr (to run) dibujar (to draw) ¿Qué te gusta hacer? ¡Me gusta dibujar! salir (to go out)

7 Clarifying & Emphasizing
71 Sometimes it is unclear who likes something and clarification is necessary. Add a with a pronoun (or the person’s name) before the regular pronoun you use with gustar to clarify. When it’s already clear, you can add emphasis to the statement by using a with pronouns. a mí me nos te os le les a nosotros a ti a vosotros a ustedes a ellos a ellas a usted a él a ella You have to use a to name who likes something: A Roberto le gusta patinar. A Roberto y a Ana les gusta patinar. When you use no with these, it goes here: A mí no me gusta correr.
