Most adjectives in English go before a noun : adjective +noun I have big eyes He has short hair Elephants have long ears. If the verb is “TO BE”, the adjective go after the verb: to be+adjective I’m tall and thin She is pretty Whales are intelligent. When several adjectives come before a noun, they usually have to be put in a particular order. When talking about hair, e.g., the order is: opinion / length / shape / color +noun She has beautiful ,long , wavy ,blond hair.
