5 If a negative word goes after a verb, add no before the verb Ella no come nada No veo a nadie en la fiesta. Él no llega temprano nunca Yo no entiendo tampoco No tengo ni lápiz ni pluma

7 Superlative endings make adjectives into extreme adjectives If the adjective ends in a vowel, drop the vowel and add ísimo (grande  grandísimo) If the adjective ends in a consonant, just add ísimo (popular  popularísimo) Special spellings largo  larguísimo rico  riquísimo feliz  felicísimo

8 Superlatives are like all adjectives - they have 4 forms Es un libro larguísimo. Es una casa bonitísima. Son unos tacos grandísimos. Son unas enchiladas picantísimas.
