Es comprensivo. Colos. 1:20 Rom. 8:18-23 Apoc. 11:18 Methodologies: Bible Exploration, Question Asking Illustrations: Identified by ** in the contents notes. Content: Ask: Why did Jesus die on the cross? Read Colossians 1:20 Say: “Why did Jesus die on the cross – for all things to be reconciled to Himself” This includes your life and your soul But it is not all – He came to reconcile all things Read Romans 8:18-23 What is waiting for redemption? All creation All creation is waiting for the children of God. It has been subject to frustration. It is groaning. Creation has been affected by the Fall. Jesus died on the cross to reconcile all things!! Creation is waiting for the Children of God. Who are the children of God? We are. What is the creation waiting for? Does God love creation? Do we love it? Really? We throw trash out, we pollute rivers and lakes. Creation is groaning and waiting for the children to be acting like the children of God – caring about God’s creation. Illustration** - A hero church in Nairobi, Kenya – they understand this, they have started a tree nursery. Kenya used to be 30% forested and is now only 2% forested. The people have been stripping the forests, but the Church is starting to replant the forests of Kenya. The song writters and singers are writing and singing songs about the need to reforest the nation and care about the creation. The Creation is waiting for the sons of God. Judgment to come upon those who “destroy” – [diaphtheiro /dee·af·thi·ro/] destroy utterly (Lk 12:33; Rev 8:9; 11:18a); 2. be depraved, corrupt (1Ti 6:5; Rev 11:18b; Rev 19:2 ) “will destroy utterly those who corrupt/destroy the earth.”

Es abierto a todos. Juan 3:16 Galatas 3:28 Methodologies: Bible Exploration Illustrations: Identified by ** in the contents notes. Content: God’s Kingdom is open to all!! Together, say John 3:16. Some religions have a hierarchy and only the highest of the hierarchy can relate to God. Some religions have a caste system and only the highest caste can worship God. Some religions are sexist and only men can worship God. Illustration**: Bangladesh – schools with teenagers in first grade. Why? These are untouchables that have never been educated. They greeted me with perfect English – Hello. How did I greet them back? Touch them – they are untouchables. There are no untouchables in the Kingdom of God. He welcomes the outcasts, the forgotten, the untouchables of every society. Read Galatians 3:28 When Jesus came on earth over 80% of the population were slaves, and women were despised. Over 40% of the baby girls in Rome were killed simply because they were girls. Jewish men’s prayer – Thank you, Lord, that I am not a woman, a slave or a dog. Jesus was different than this world People were drawn to Him – Why? He treated women with dignity and children as treasures. Role Play of Philemon and Onesimus Slave owner Slave Paul – recognizes Onesimus’ freedom and sends him back to Philemon as a brother and not a slave – have the two greet one another as brothers.

8 La Naturaleza del Reino
Es ahora y todavía no. Mateo 6:10 Lucas 17:21 Methodologies: Bible Exploration Illustrations: Identified by ** in the contents notes. Content: The Kingdom of God is both present and future. There are some Christians who say that: - The Kingdom of God is only in the future - Christ is King of heaven now, but not of earth These Christians tend to make true the saying “they are so heavenly minded they are of no earthly good. There are other Christians, that have consciously or unconsciously accepted the secular/materialistic paradigm. They focus only on the here and now. They tend to be “social gospel” and “liberation theology” advocates. They tend to think that life is “perfectable.” That human beings, in their own effort can bring the Kingdom of God into reality here and now. Each group has part of the picture correct, but is also missing part of the picture. There is the future aspect of the Kingdom of God, the “not yet.” The fullness of the Kingdom will only come when Christ returns. Then there is a present aspect of the Kingdom. Christians are to manifest, in some small way, the presence of the Kingdom of God in their own lives. Illustration I visited a group of young Christians in Brazil that had started an orphanage for children with aids. These babies and toddlers had been orphaned or abandoned because of aids. The world had forgotten them. But these young Christians had not. They wanted to make tangible the love of God to these children and the Kingdom virtue of the sanctity of life.

9 La Naturaleza del Reino
Es de dentro hacia afuera Juan 3:3, 7 Mat. 13:31-33 Methodologies: Bible Exploration Illustrations: Identified by ** in the contents notes. Content: Read John 3:3,7 and Matt. 13: 31-33 Too often the world thinks that all problems are rooted external to human beings – in the environment or in the structures of society. The Bible tells us that the root of all problems is inside of human beings in the heart and mind. This is why Jesus says that if we want to see the Kingdom of heaven we must be born again. He likens the Kingdom to a mustard seed. The seed is very small, but it grows into a large plant. Thus the Kingdom of God is born inside the heart and mind of a person and then extends outwards to their family, the Church, to the sector of society where they work and then to the nation and the world. Use the next slide to show a visual illustration of this.
