Rephrased statements Tag questions Information questions

3 Rephrased statements change the subject and the verb
Usually they are yes/no or either/or questions

¿Usa Rosa una calculadora en la clase de matemáticas? ¿Tiene Ricardo una mochila roja o azul?

5 Tag questions are a statement
Followed by ¿no? or ¿verdad?

6 For example El concurso es interesante, ¿no?
Tú sacas buenas notas, ¿verdad?

7 Information questions require information answers
And begin with a question word or interrogative.

9 Qué vs. Cuál Qué can be followed by a noun.
Qué is used for definition. ¿Qué libro mira Isabel? ¿Qué es un mapa? Cuál can’t be followed by a noun. Cuál can be followed by a verb or de. Cuál is singular cuáles is plural. ¿Cuál is used to make a choice. ¿Cuál de los libros mira Isabel? ¿Cuál es la fecha?
