1 Quasimodo:  Read the description below and guess where the person is:  Hoy es el 25 de julio. Yo estoy de vacaciones. Hace mucho sol y mucho calor. Estoy en un lugar cerca del mar. Hay una playa bonita. Voy a pescar más tarde. En este lugar puedo tomar el sol. Necesito una pasaporte para viajar aquí. Las personas no hablan inglés aquí. 3 Irregular Present Participles  Some verbs need spelling changes so that they are spelled the same way they are pronounced as a present participle (orthographic changes)

4 Irregular Present Participles:  Creer  creyendo  Ir  yendo  Oír  oyendo  Traer  trayendo  Leer  leyendo Guess how the other three will be spelled:  Caer  cayendo  Huir  huyendo  Influir  influyendo Note that Seguir does NOT follow this pattern

5 Battleship:  Same basic idea as before but with 1 change:  You need to write your “attack” on a markerboard. If it isn’t spelled correctly then you lose your turn.
