3 Steps to Conjugation: 1. Drop the –ar, -er and –ir. 2. Pick the pronoun. 3. Add the corresponding ending.

6 Conjugate your sentences. 1. I iron the clothes. 2. You wash the dishes. 3. He cuts the grass. 4. We take out the trash. 5. They make the bed. 1. Yo plancho la ropa. 2. Tú lavas los platos. 3. Él corta el césped. 4. Nosotros sacamos la basura. 5. Ellos hacen la cama.

8 Present Progressive Tense  Is used to…describe what is occurring NOW.  It is the –ing form in English.  To form the present progressive you need a conjugation of ESTAR followed by the second verb conjugated by dropping the –ar and adding ando or –er/-ir and adding iendo.

9 ESTAR: TO BE Estoy : I am Estamos : We are Estás : you are Está : he is, she is, you are (formal) Están : they are, y’all are

10 Ejemplos: 1. Estoy escuchando. 2. Ella está llorando. 3. Ellos están trabajando.  Start with the verb ESTAR and conjugate it for the subject  AKA: PICK your PRONOUN.  Then take your verb and add ando or iendo. 1. I’m listening. 2. She is crying. 3. They are working.
