1 Quasimodo: Silently practice your memory verse and get your homework out. “¿A dónde me iré de tu Espíritu? ¿Y a dónde huiré de tu presencia? 2 Tarea:

3 Get out your photos from your weekend homework.  You will be describing these to your 12 o’clock partner. They will be drawing the scene you describe.  Read what you wrote over the weekend first.  Then add in more detail to allow them to get the drawing even better

4 Ser vs. Estar  Sometimes adjectives can mean different things depending on if they are working with ser or estar.  Example:  La manzana es verde. (the apple is green)  La manzana está verde. (the apple is unripe)  Look at the list of adjectives on the next page and the possible meanings they have and decide which meaning you think goes with ser and which goes with estar.

5 Adjetivos:  Aburrido : bored & boring  Listo : smart & ready  Malo : Bad (evil/naughty) & bad (not well/sick)  Orgulloso : proud (arrogant) & proud (of someone/something)  Moreno : tan & dark skinned/dark hair  Pálido : Light skin & pale(sickly)  Seguro : sure & safe  Viejo : old (aged) & old (looking/feeling old)  Roto : broken but fixable & broken forever
