7 What is the difference between the two? Ser = descriptions, personality, things that are more permanent Estar = mood, feeling, emotion, things that are more temporary

8 Check out these two examples:  Soy de Michigan = I’m from Michigan  Estoy en la sala de clase = I am in the classroom Why am I using “estoy” in the second case?

9 Here’s how you remember:  “How you feel and where you are, always use estar”  Use “ser” if it isn’t either of those two things!  This will become more complicated in the future, but FOR NOW this is all you need.
