The SWX tele campaign was a response to the hundreds of SWX accounts identified during the Embrace the Base and STP campaigns. Sales Execution, Field Mktg and SWAT team worked together to maximize the value of these contacts by constructing a calling campaign to assess the loyalty of these SWX account contacts to that product. Although not the same formal research methodology as ADSK’s own customer loyalty studies, we used a standardized set of questions to bucket responses into similar loyalty categories. We did add one more category to have greater nuance among those open and accessible to us. In the order according to potential for ADSK to convert: Truly Loyal Trapped by SWX Likes SWX, but open to ADSK Accessible to ADSK High Risk to Leave SWX The results were somewhat surprising in that the percentage of Truly Loyals and Trapped—those hardest for us to convert—is 20% combined. The percentage of high risk to SWX is however, lower than the comparable category for Inventor. It’s in the area of those open and accessible to ADSK that we find the numbers VERY high—there are a lot of people using SWX that are not locked. 29
