3 NEPTUNE’S MYTH Classical myths try to give an interpretation to events that were inexplicable to man. Los mitos clásicos tratan de dar una interpretación para acontecimientos que eran inexplicables para el hombre.

4 This myth explains the destructive or benefactor power of the sea waters. Este mito explica el poder destructor o benefactor de las aguas del mar.

5 Neptune is known as Poseidon in Greek mythology. Neptuno es conocido como Poseidón en la mitología griega.

6 In this case, Poseidon myth explains the origin of ocean phenomena such as tsunamis. En este caso, el mito de Poseidón explica el origen de fenómenos marítimos como los tsunamis.

7 God’s atributes: The trident. The horses. Atributos del dios: El tridente. Los caballos.
