4 El subjuntivo Sentences where the subjunctive is used have two clauses (main and dependent), each with a different subject. The two clauses are connected with the word “que”

10 Stem-changing verbs Try the following stem-changing verbs in your notebook. Then, conjugate them on the board and check your work. -ar: pensar, contar (shape of a boot) -er: volver, entender (shape of a boot) -ir: sentir, pedir, morir (all the forms) (nosotros and vosotros –ir verbs: ei = i ; eie = i ; oue = u)
